Description
If you had enough of meat or just want to try something new, try this garlic tofu. This Asian kitchen dish will bring more colours into your life.
Ingredients
- 300 grams Tofu
- 2 Tablespoons Hoisin Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Grated Ginger
- ½ Tablespoons Sugar
- ¼ teaspoons Chili Flakes
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
- 100 grams Cooked Rice
- 100 grams Steamed Broccoli
- 20 grams Spring Onions
- 1 pinch Sesame Seeds
Preparation
Lne a plate with paper towels. Place tofu on plate and more paper towels on top. Compress with a heavy frying pan or some other weight. Leave for 30 minutes. Remove wet paper and cut tofu into cubes.
Mix hoisin and soy sauce in a bowl. Press garlic and add ginger, sugar, chili flakes and mix everything up. Put tofu in sauce and leave for 30 minutes.
Heat some olive oil in a frying pan. Cook tofu on all sides, until browned. When done, add sesame oil.
Serve tofu with rice and broccoli. Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds.
