Autumn Clove Spiced Red Wine Sangria

Description

Fall spiced sangria made with cloves, anise, nutmeg and cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Apples
  • 1 whole Pear
  • 1 whole Orange
  • 1 cup Brandy
  • 1 bottle (750ml Size) Medium Bodied Red Wine
  • 3 whole Star Anise
  • ⅛ teaspoons Ground Cloves
  • ¼ teaspoons Fresh Nutmeg
  • 2 sticks Cinnamon
  • 2 cups Sparkling Water

Preparation

Cut fruit into small pieces and place in a pitcher. Pour brandy over fruit. Pour wine over top of that. Add spices and stir. Cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.

Add sparkling water right before serving.
