Description
Turkey, cheddar, apple, baby kale and honey Dijon all in perfect harmony. Toasted to perfection, this is the perfect autumn-inspired sandwich.
Ingredients
- 4 slices Whole Grain Bread
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Honey Dijon Mustard
- 1 HoneyCrisp Apple, Cored And Sliced
- 4 slices Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 8 slices Deli Roasted Turkey
- 8 Baby Kale Leaves
Preparation
Preheat a panini press according to manufacturer’s instructions, or heat a grill pan over medium heat. Spread the outer side of each slice of bread with 1 tablespoon of butter.
Spread the mustard evenly over the other (non-buttered) side of two slices of bread. Layer with apple slices, cheese, turkey and kale. Top each with the remaining bread slices (buttered side facing out).
Grill each sandwich for 3 to 5 minutes or until bread is golden brown and cheese has melted. Remove from pan, cut in half and serve immediately.
