Mmm. Soft, tangy goat cheese stuffed in sugary-sweet dates wrapped in crisp, salty bacon. Trust me, this appetizer will fly off the platters at your next party!
Ingredients
- 12 whole Dates, Pitted
- 2 ounces, weight Goat Cheese
- 4 slices Bacon
- ¼ cups Brown Sugar
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
Slice dates lengthwise, but not all the way through.
Use a butter knife or spreader to stuff dates with goat cheese.
Cut bacon slices into thirds. Wrap each date in 1/3 slice of bacon. Use a toothpick to keep in place.
Lightly roll each in brown sugar and set on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10-15 minutes.
