Description
Bacon wrapped jalapeños with cream cheese.
Ingredients
- 20 whole Fresh Jalapenos
- 24 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
- 3 pounds Thinly Sliced Bacon
Preparation
1. Put on gloves and keep gloves on for all prep work.
2. Slice off stems of jalapeño peppers then slice in half lengthwise. I use the largest peppers I can find because they are less spicy.
3. Clean out all seeds and ribs.
4. Fill pepper half with cream cheese.
5. Wrap bacon around pepper to cover the pepper. The bacon will stick to itself.
6. Smoke until bacon is firm (usally about 1 hour depending on the temperature) or bake in the oven at 350ºF for about 1/2 hour or until bacon is crispy.
