An incredible appetiser, side and/or party food recipe.
Ingredients
- 10 Jalapenos
- 150 grams Cream Cheese
- ⅓ cups Fresh Parsley, Roughly Chopped
- 30 grams Panko Breadcrumbs
- 250 grams Streaky Bacon
Preparation
Preheat oven to 200ºC (390ºF).
Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise. Use a small spoon to scrape out all of the seeds and the pith.
Mix cream cheese and parsley in a bowl. Fill jalapenos with cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle a good amount of panko breadcrumbs on top and then wrap bacon around the stuffed jalapenos.
Preheat a grill over high heat, then add jalapenos, making sure the cheese side is face-up. Grill jalapenos for about 2–3 minutes until you have some nice marks and bacon is nice and crispy at the bottom.
Transfer jalapenos onto a lined baking tray, then bake jalapenos for 20–25 minutes until panko breadcrumbs are golden and bacon is crispy.
