Description
Not your basic French toast! It is kicked up a notch with dried fruit and then baked and served with warm syrup.
Ingredients
- 12 whole Pieces Of Whole Grain/wheat Cinnamon Bread
- 1 cup Skim Milk
- 8 whole Eggs, Beaten
- 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- 1 whole Granny Smith Apple, Diced
- ½ cups Dried Cranberries
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
Preparation
Grease a 9×13 pan, lay bread inside (stacking it is ok).
Mix together milk and eggs and sugar and then pour over bread. Sprinkle the top with apples, cranberries, ginger and cinnamon.
Place in the refrigerator covered for at least 6 hours, but overnight is best.
Bake at 350F for 30-45 minutes.
Serve with warm syrup and butter.
