Ingredients
- 2 cups Rolled Oats, Large Flake Oats, Or Porridge Blend Oats
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ¾ cups Brown Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs, Beaten
- 1-½ cup Milk
- ½ cups Canola Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon (optional)
- 2 whole Apples, Peeled, Cored, And Finely Chopped (optional)
Preparation
Mix dry ingredients together in a greased 9X9 baking pan. Stir in the wet ingredients. Bake at 350F for about 40 minutes. Serve warm with a splash of cream or milk.
If you feel like a treat, top it with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream!
This oatmeal is good without the apples, or try substituting peaches or blueberries for the apples sometime.
Mix it up and refrigerate overnight, then bake in the morning. By then the oats will be soaked so the baking time can be decreased to 25 minutes.
