Ingredients

  • FOR THE BARS:
  • ½ cups Butter, Softened
  • 1-½ cup Sugar
  • 2  Eggs
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 3  Ripe Bananas
  • FOR THE FROSTING:
  • 1 package (8 Oz. Size) Cream Cheese
  • ½ cups Butter, Softened
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extracts
  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla extract. Mix well.

In a smaller bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to wet mixture. Mash bananas and fold into the mixture.

Place into a greased jelly roll pan. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.

For the frosting, cream together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla extract. Add powdered sugar 1 cup at a time, mixing well. Spread over cooled bars and store in fridge until ready to serve.
