Description

Overnight oats with strawberry, banana, and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups One Minute Oats
  • ½ cups Milk
  • 1 container (6 Oz. Size) Strawberry Greek Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 envelopes (Individual Packets) Artificial Sweetener (optional), Or 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • ¼ cups Milk Chocolate Chips
  • ½  Banana

Preparation

In a small bowl, combine oats, milk, and yogurt. Stir until combined. Add vanilla extract, sweetener, and chocolate chips. If you don’t want an overly sweet overnight oatmeal, you can leave out the sweetener. You can also substitute with granulated sugar or honey, of course.

Thinly slice banana and fold into mixture, being careful not to mash the bananas. Refrigerate overnight before enjoying.

Note: The banana can tend to get a little brown and mushy after it sits overnight, so if that bothers you, you will want to wait to add the banana until you are ready to eat. I find, however, that leaving the banana in the oatmeal overnight adds such a delicious fruity flavor to the oatmeal that I don’t mind sacrificing a little bit of presentation.
