Description
Ultra crispy shrimp tossed in the most addicting sauce. Only 20 minutes between you and this super easy appetizer!
Ingredients
- FOR THE SAUCE:
- ½ cups Mayonnaise
- ¼ cups Sweet Chili Sauce
- ½ teaspoons Sriracha
- FOR THE SHRIMP:
- Oil, As Needed For Frying
- 1 pound Shrimp
- ½ cups Buttermilk
- ¾ cups Cornstarch
- Fresh Chives For Garnish (optional)
Preparation
For the sauce, in a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha.
In a large Dutch oven, heat about 2 inches of oil to 375ºF.
In a large bowl, combine shrimp and buttermilk. Place corn starch into a resealable bag. Add shrimp to bag, being sure to shake off any extra buttermilk. Shake until well coated.
Fry a few at a time for 1–2 minutes each side. Do not overcrowd the pan.
Drain on paper towels. Coat or drizzle with prepared sauce. Garnish with chives if desired.
