This is my go-to recipe for smoothies!
Ingredients
- 2 stalks Kale, Washed
- 1 cup Fresh Or Frozen Fruit, I.e. Strawberries, Blueberries, Pineapple Etc.
- ½ cups Plain Yogurt
- 1 whole Banana, Peeled
- 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Flaxseed
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1-½ cup Almond Milk
- ½ cups Orange Juice
Preparation
Put ingredients into whatever blender you have. Blend until smooth. Drink and enjoy!
Berry box note: I buy fresh fruit on sale and flash freeze the fruit and then add to my “berry box” container which I keep in my freezer. I mix up the fruit I have flash frozen, and add a variety of them to my smoothie each day. This way, all the fruit is in one place, and makes the process a lot quicker. I also flash freeze the kale, because the flavor of the kale is improved upon freezing. Using this process, I have a healthy smoothie breakfast every morning without it taking a lot of time to put together.
