Description

Do you remember those Sunday mornings at your grandma’s? Waking up to a smell of delicious berry waffles is one of the best memories of my childhood. So this time I want to share with you this waffle recipe of my grandma’s. Though there are a lot of waffle recipes, this one is my favorite. Let’s try to make these waffles as healthy as possible, so instead of adding sugar, just use honey, berries or maple syrup.

Ingredients

  • 2  Eggs
  • 1-½ cup Milk
  • 3 teaspoons Coconut Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • ¼ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1-½ cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Blueberries, Maple Syrup, And Almonds, For Serving

Preparation

Heat waffle maker.

Beat eggs in a bowl. Pour milk, coconut oil, honey, baking soda, and cinnamon. Add flour, baking powder, and salt and mix well.

Spray some oil on the waffle maker and cook according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Serve with almonds, berries and maple syrup. Enjoy!
