Blackened Salmon with Avocado Salsa

    Description

    Pan-fried seasoned salmon, served with a creamy avocado salsa.

    Ingredients

    • FOR THE SALMON:
    • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
    • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
    • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
    • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
    • 1 teaspoon Pepper
    • ½ teaspoons Cumin
    • ½ teaspoons Salt
    • 2 whole (8 Oz. Size) Coho Salmon Fillets
    • FOR THE SALSA:
    • 1 whole Avocado, Peeled, Pitted, And Diced
    • 1-½ whole Limes, Juiced
    • ¼ whole Red Onion, Minced
    • ¼ cups Cilantro, Chopped

    Preparation

    1. Add oil into a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Combine the spices in a small bowl. Rub spices into the salmon fillets. Once oil is hot, add salmon into the pan skin side up. Cook for 4 minutes then flip onto the skin side and cook for another 4 minutes. Put salmon onto plates.
    2. While salmon is cooking, make salsa. Mix together the salsa ingredients in a small bowl. Serve on top of each fillet. Enjoy!
