A delicious dip combining all the best ingredients of a mouthwatering blue cheese and bacon dip.
Ingredients
- ⅓ cups Chopped White Onion
- ¼ sticks Butter
- 3 strips Crisp Bacon
- 1 teaspoon Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 7 ounces, weight Greek Yogurt
- ½ cups Mayonnaise
- 4 ounces, weight Blue Cheese
- ½ teaspoons Cholula Sauce
- ½ teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic
- ½ teaspoons Fresh Chives
Preparation
Saute onions in the butter for around 10 minutes until golden brown. Set aside a spoonful to top the dip.
Cook bacon until crispy. Crumble into pieces and set aside.
Place the onion, lemon juice, Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, blue cheese, Cholula, and pepper in a medium mixing bowl. Mix on high until mixture is only slightly lumpy and all ingredients are blended. Transfer to a serving bowl.
Top with bacon crumbles, chives, and remaining caramelized onions. Chill 2 hours to allow flavors to combine.
