Description

My favorite breakfast smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Banana
  • 1 cup Frozen Blueberries (I Like Wild Blueberries)
  • ½ cups Fat Free Greek Yogurt (I Like Fage 0% Or Oikos)
  • Water, As Needed To Blend
  • ½ whole Scoop Of Nectar Chocolate Truffle Protein Powder (or Whatever Flavor Floats Your Boat)
  • ½ cups 1% Or Fat Free Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil

Preparation

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend to desired consistency. Then serve.

I created this for a quick, portable, healthy breakfast.

I do Weight Watchers (WW), so this breakfast is also intended to cover as many Good Health Guidelines (GHGs) as possible (hence the olive oil). So, if you follow WW, this smoothie provides 3 fruit servings, 1 dairy serving and 1 serving of healthy oils.

This can also be easily modified. I often use a full cup of milk if I don’t have any yogurt. Also, I substitute in different fruits or skip the protein depending on the day.
