Description
An easy homemade blueberry jam and an irresistible snack when spread on goat cheese crostini.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Heaping Blueberries
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- ½ Tablespoons Fresh Ginger, Minced
- ½ whole Lemon, Zested
- ½ Tablespoons Fresh Lavender, Chopped
- 1 pinch Salt And Pepper
- 8 slices Wheat Bread Roll, Sliced On The Diagonal
- 4 Tablespoons Goat Cheese
Preparation
Combine everything except goat cheese and bread in a small sauce pan. Simmer over medium heat for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally to help the blueberries breakdown. Once thickened, remove from heat and set aside.
Toast sliced wheat bread and spread goat cheese on top.
Top with blueberry jam and extra lavender for garnish.
