Description
A tasty party treat that can be extremely addictive!
Ingredients
- ¼ cups Light Brown Sugar
- ¼ cups Chopped Pecans (fairly Small But Not Crumbs) Plus Extra For Sprinkling On Top If Desired
- 1 Tablespoon Bourbon
- 1 Thawed Pastry Puff Sheet (can Find In Freezer Dessert Section)
- 1 Round Brie, 7-8 Ounce Size
- 3 Tablespoons Butter, More Or Less As Desired, Optinoal
- Crackers And Grapes For Serving
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 F.
1. Stir together the sugar, pecans and bourbon in a small bowl..
2. Roll out the pastry on a lightly floured surface.
3. Spread bourbon mixture in the middle of the pastry in the form of a circle about as round as the brie.
4. Place brie round on top of mixture.
5. Wrap pastry around the brie (I fold over one corner at a time. You can cut off excess pastry puff before wrapping and make a fun shape or design to place on top of puff before baking.)
6. Place puff on a foil lined baking sheet, seam side down (that’s when you can put the design on top if desired.)
7. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove pan from oven and set it on a cooling rack.
8. Let it cool for about 10 minutes then place on a platter with your choice of crackers and grapes.
9. Melt a few tablespoons of butter and pour over the puff and then sprinkle with some extra chopped pecans.
10. Cut little slices to put on crackers, maybe a grape or two with it!
Enjoy!
