Breakfast Apple Crumble

Description

This is a healthier, lighter version of an apple crumble. Whipped up in minutes with lovely autumn flavors for a sweet and nutritious breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Apples
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon Raisins (If Using Muesli That Has Raisins, You Can Omit This)
  • 1 teaspoon Butter
  • 6 Tablespoons Oats Or Muesli

Preparation

Preheat oven to 220ºC (425ºF).

Core and roughly dice apples. I recommend using apples that are a little tangy, like you would for an apple pie. Mix the apple pieces with honey, cinnamon and raisins. Transfer to a small oven dish or heat resistant bowl.

Dot the top of the apply mixture with little slivers of butter. Cover with muesli or oats.

Place the dish in the middle of the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
