Description
Bacon sprinkled with brown sugar and pecans and baked in the oven till perfectly sweet and crispy.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Applewood Smoked Bacon
- ¼ cups Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a cookie rack inside a baking sheet and spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
Lay strips of bacon across the prepared sheet. Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon of brown sugar. Evenly sprinkle with pecan pieces.
Bake 20–25 minutes until desired crispiness.
Notes: Each package of bacon will contain a different number of slices, depending on how they cut it. The secret is 1 teaspoon brown sugar per slice. You can go as heavy or as light as you want on the pecans. I used a full cup of pecans on the whole package.
