Description
Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza made with roasted cauliflower, freshly shredded mozzarella cheese, and topped with blue cheese and green onion.
Ingredients
- ½ heads Cauliflower
- ¼ Onion
- 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
- 1 cup Wing Sauce
- 8 ounces, weight Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 Pizza Crust
- Cornmeal (optional)
- 2 Tablespoons Butter (optional)
- Blue Cheese Crumbles And Green Onions, To Serve
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425ºF. Place a pizza stone or baking pan in the oven.
Cut cauliflower into smaller-than-bite-sized pieces. Slice onion into thin strips, then cut the strips in half.
On a second baking pan, toss cauliflower and onions in a bit of oil and roast for 10 minutes.
While veggies are roasting, whisk cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of the wing sauce in a small saucepan. Add remaining wing sauce and bring to a boil. Allow the sauce to thicken then remove from heat.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the crust. When cauliflower and onions are finished roasting, stir them into the sauce, then spread over the pizza.
Take your preheated pizza stone or baking pan from the oven. Sprinkle a bit of cornmeal on it if you would like. You may need to grease the pan depending on the crust that you are using. Brush the edge of the crust with melted butter if you like your crust a bit crispier.
Transfer pizza over to the pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Sprinkle with blue cheese and green onion right before serving.
