Description
This is a classic little butter tart recipe, made with raisins or pecans.
Ingredients
- 30 whole Sweetened Tart Shells, Frozen Unbaked
- 2 cups Pecan Halves Or Raisins, Approximately
- ⅔ cups Melted Butter
- 2 whole Eggs, Beaten
- 1-½ cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Milk Or Cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
Arrange tart shells on a baking sheet. Place a few pecan halves or 1 tablespoon raisins in each tart shell. I never measure the total amount, but just place a little bit in each tart so they are not heaping full.
Beat together remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Pour mixture evenly over pecans or raisins. Do not overfill the tarts. This usually makes 30 tarts for me, but it could make more or less depending on your style.
Bake for 15–18 minutes.
