Description

A slightly spicy southern-style deviled egg made with Cajun seasoning and topped with shrimp. Perfect for your next holiday party.

Ingredients

  • 5 whole Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • ½ teaspoons White Vinegar
  • ¾ teaspoons Cajun Seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoons Smoked Paprika
  • 10 whole Mini Shrimp, Cooked

Preparation

Place eggs in a pot and cover eggs with cold water. Bring to a boil, then lower heat to a simmer, cover the pot and simmer for 15 minutes. Or use your favorite method for hard-boiling eggs.

Drain off the water. Place pot with eggs in it under cold running water for about 2 minutes. Let the eggs cool completely.

Peel the shell off of the eggs and cut the eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks. In a bowl, add the egg yolks, mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika. Mix until smooth. Taste test it.

Spoon the mixture into the egg halves and top with shrimp.
