My roommate last year taught me how to make this and it makes a great heart-attack brunch.

Ingredients

  • 6 strips Bacon
  • ⅓ loaves Sourdough Bread
  • 6 whole Eggs

Preparation

Note: The measurements on this recipe are just guesses and they are not meant to be specific. You just have to watch it and adjust the amounts.

Start by cutting the bacon into small pieces and frying in a pan. Once done, remove to a bowl and keep the bacon grease in the pan.

Next cube the bread into small, bite-sized pieces. I think you need about 3 cups of the cubed bread. Add the bread to the bacon grease and fry until the grease is absorbed and the bread is somewhat crispy. Remove the bread and set aside with the bacon.

Now, begin the eggs. Scramble the eggs in a separate bowl then add to the pan and prepare like scrambled eggs. After a little cooking and before the eggs are fully done, add the bread and bacon back in and finish cooking everything together.
