Description
A no-bake dip you can serve warm or chilled.
Ingredients
- 1 bulb Garlic
- 1 whole Red Onion, Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 6 ounces, weight Spinach
- ⅓ cups Light Sour Cream
- ⅓ cups Mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Ground Thyme
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
Preparation
Heat oven to 350ºF. Cut off the end of the garlic bulb and wrap the bulb in foil. Roast in the oven for 30 minutes. While it’s roasting, sauté the onion in oil slowly to get it really soft and then add in the spinach when it is almost done, to wilt it. Squeeze out the garlic cloves into a bowl and add the onion and spinach and the rest of the ingredients. Mix it together and then serve with chips, crackers or veggies.
