Description
A sweet and tangy snack mix that’s a perfect make and take! Great for tailgating or any fall parties!
Ingredients
- 8 cups Chex (any Unflavored Variety)
- 2 cups Honey-roasted Peanuts (optional)
- 2 sticks Butter
- ¾ cups Brown Sugar
- 10 envelopes Individual Apple Cider Drink Mix
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread Chex and nuts evenly on a parchment-paper-lined sheet pan.
Melt butter in a saucepan, stirring in brown sugar and cider mix packets. Bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Drizzle the brown sugar mixture over the Chex, but don’t stir. Bake for 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and stir—be sure to scrape the bottom of the pan. Bake an additional 8 minutes. Remove from oven and stir.
Let it cool completely before serving.
