Description
This sauce is cheesy liquid gold with a slightly spicy kick to it. Since the day I came up with a way to transform a nasty bottle of processed cheese into an, “I can’t believe it is this good kind of cheese sauce” I’ve been making it this way. Now I’m so obsessed with it. Give it a try, it’s very simple to make.
Ingredients
- 3 whole Tomatoes
- 1 whole Jalapeno
- ⅓ cups Chopped Cilantro
- ⅓ cups Water
- 6 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
- ¾ cups Sour Cream
- 15 ounces, fluid Store Bought Cheddar Flavor Cheese Sauce
- 1 dash Salt And Pepper If Necessary
Preparation
Cut the tomatoes in half and place them in a plastic bag along with the jalapeno (without the stem) and cilantro.
Then, add the water to the bag, seal it and place it in the microwave for about 3 1/2 minutes or until the jalapeno and tomatoes are soft and mushy.
Transfer the tomato mixture to the blender along with the cream cheese, sour cream and cheese sauce. Blend it all together and season it with salt and pepper if necessary. Make sure to try it before you add seasoning because the store bought cheese sauce contains a lot of sodium already. And now simply enjoy it with just about anything, especially cheese fries.
