Description
This recipe got the test for ease and simplicity when we planned an impromptu gathering with neighbors. It’s sweet, warm, cheesey and delicious served with either crackers, pita chips or toasted baguette slices.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 cup Chopped Sweet Onion, Such As Vidalia Or Walla Walla
- 1 Tablespoon Grated Parmesan Cheese
- ¼ teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 4 ounces, weight Shredded Swiss Cheese
- Minced Fresh Parsley
- Assorted Crackers, Pita Chips, Baguette Toasts
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325 F.
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, onion, Parmesan cheese and garlic salt. Once combined, stir in Swiss cheese.
Spoon into a 1-quart baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 325 F for 40 minutes.
Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with crackers, pita chips and baguette toasts.
