Description
Fresh cherries in juice form make a pretty refreshing drink on a hot day! (Or instead of cherries, use any kind of fruit you like!)
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 1-½ cup Fresh Or Frozen Sweet Black Cherries, Pitted (thawed If Frozen)
- 12 cups, 10 tablespoons, 2-⅝ teaspoons, ½ pinches Sparkling Or Still Water, Chilled
Preparation
Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring up to a boil (stirring occasionally), then turn off heat and cool.
Add cherries and sugar syrup to a blender or food processor and process until completely smooth.
Strain cherry syrup through a fine mesh sieve; chill.
Mix syrup with chilled water to taste before serving.
