Chocolate and Cocoa Covered Almonds

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Semi Dark Or Milk Chocolate Morsels
  • 16 ounces, weight Whole, Raw Almonds
  • ½ cups Sweetened Cocoa Powder
  • Confectioners Sugar, For Dusting (optional)

Preparation

In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate and stir well. Add almonds and coat well.

Lay a sheet of parchment paper on a rimmed baking sheet pan and transfer chocolate-covered almonds using a slotted spoon (be patient here and allow excess chocolate to drip back into bowl). let set for a few minutes.

In another bowl, add sweetened cocoa powder. Add chocolate-coated almonds, coat well, and transfer to a platter. Dust with confectioners sugar if desired.

Store in an airtight container (I usually store these in the refrigerator). Yummy!
