Want dessert for breakfast? This heart-healthy oatmeal is sweet yet still healthy, coming in at just 135 calories. If coconut isn’t your thing, you can use a heaping tablespoon of raisins instead, and the calories are still the same. I’m not sure how dried cranberries, dates, or cherries would come in calorie-wise, but I know they’d be delicious substitutions as well!
Ingredients
- ½ cups Water
- ¼ cups Rolled Oats
- 1 Tablespoon Sweetened Shredded Coconut
- 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar, Packed
- ½ teaspoons Cocoa Powder
Preparation
Combine ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and stir. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes, or until oats are soft and the mixture rises evenly. Stir, serve.
