Description
This Cilantro Lime Chicken recipe has an easy marinade that adds a nice zip and big flavor! Perfect for summer grilling!
Ingredients
- 2 whole Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- ⅛ cups Fresh Lime Juice
- ¼ cups Fresh Cilantro, Chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, Chopped
- 1-½ teaspoon Honey Or Agave
- 1-½ teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- ¼ teaspoons Kosher Salt
- ⅛ teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- For Serving, If Desired: Flour Tortillas, Rice, Beans, Taco Condiments
Preparation
Pound out your chicken breasts to about 1/2″ thickness.
Combine lime juice, cilantro, garlic, honey, olive oil, salt and pepper in a small bowl and give it a quick mix. Pour your marinade into a zip-top bag, add the chicken, seal the bag and pop it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
After your marination period, preheat your grill to medium high heat. Lay chicken on the grill and cook for 4-6 minutes on each side until it’s no longer pink and fully cooked through.
