Description
These bars are gooey like brownies and reminiscent of snickerdoodles, but are egg-free!
Ingredients
- 1-½ cup Flour
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- ½ teaspoons Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoons Salt
- ½ cups Water
- ½ cups Vegetable Oil
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 5 teaspoons Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly grease an 8 x 8-inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt with a wire whisk. Add water, oil, and vanilla to dry mixture. Stir to combine.
Spoon batter into prepared pan and spread until evenly distributed.
In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle mixture over batter. Bake for 20–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan before cutting in squares.
