One of the things I miss eating around the holidays is candied nuts. This year, I was determined to come up with a healthier alternative—and I finally found the winning combination. I’m very excited to share this recipe for Cinnamon Caramel Candied Almonds!
Ingredients
- 1 Egg White
- 4 Tablespoons Caramel Syrup, Torani Sugar Free Classic
- 4 Tablespoons Cinnamon
- 4 envelopes (Individual Packets) Stevia Sweetner
- 2 cups Whole Almonds
Preparation
Preheat oven to 300ºF. In a medium bowl, whisk egg white and syrup together until frothy. In a separate bowl, combine cinnamon and Stevia.
Add almonds to the egg white mixture and make sure all almonds are well coated. Add in the cinnamon mix into the bowl and combine well.
Spread the almonds out on a sheet pan coated with cooking spray. Bake for 25 minutes. Allow them to completely cool before serving.
