This Coconut Cacao Smoothie is naturally dairy free, made with the flesh of a whole young coconut. It contains healthy fats and plenty of antioxidants from the berries. Cacao provides iron and magnesium, and chia seeds provide fibre. A healthy way to start the day.
Ingredients
- 1 whole Coconut Young Coconut (flesh And Water)
- ½ cups Blueberries
- ¾ ounces, weight Brown Rice Protein Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
- 2 Tablespoons Cacao Nibs
- ¼ teaspoons Cinnamon Powder
- 1 teaspoon Probiotic Powder (optional)
Preparation
Open young coconut and pour out 1 cup of the water to use in the smoothie. If there is a little left over, keep in the fridge.
Scoop the flesh out, rinse it to remove any debris, and add to a blender with the coconut water. Add all other ingredients and blend well.
