Description
Rich and fudgy coconut oil brownies.
Ingredients
- ¾ cups Coconut Oil
- 4-½ ounces, weight Unsweetened Chocolate
- 1 cup Brown Sugar, Packed
- 3 Eggs
- ¾ cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Melt coconut oil and chocolate over very low, gentle heat. (You could also do it in short increments in the microwave if you want to.)
Whisk chocolate mixture in a bowl with brown sugar. Whisk in eggs until mixture thickens, about 30 seconds. Stir in flour and salt until just combined. The mixture will be oily and heavy.
Pour into a 9-inch square baking dish and bake for 25–28 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting so they do not fall apart.
