Description

This comforting breakfast will be ready when you are! You can make this as healthy or unhealthy as you like with various additions.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Cracked Wheat Or Quinoa
  • 1-½ cup Steel Cut Oats
  • ½ cups Rye Flakes Or Barley Flakes
  • ½ cups Brown Rice
  • ¼ cups Wheat Germ
  • ¼ cups Flax (You Could Wait And Add This Right Before Eating)
  • 1 cup Dried Fruit Such As Raisins, Dates Or Blueberries
  • 6-½ cups Water Or Any Combination Of Liquid Such As Milk, Half-and-Half, Or Almond Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Good Quality Vanilla
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg

Preparation

Place all ingredients in a 3-quart or greater crock pot. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Cover.

Set on the lowest cooking temperature (or warm setting) and cook overnight.

Spoon into bowls in the morning and serve with desired garnishings such as half-and-half, milk, berries, nuts, sweetener, etc.
