Crockpot Mushroom Chicken Stroganoff

A unique and tasty twist on your everyday stroganoff that is sure to please your family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 2-½ pounds Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, Cubed
  • 1 cup Fresh Sliced Mushrooms
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 10-¾ ounces, weight Canned Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • 1 package (about 1 Oz. Size) Dry Onion Soup Mix
  • Salt And Freshly Ground Black Pepper, To Taste
  • Fresh, Chopped Parsley, For Garnish (optional)
  • Egg Noodles Or Rice For Serving

Preparation

Place chicken in bottom of a lightly greased slow cooker. Add mushrooms.

In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese, soup and dry onion soup mix, until well incorporated. Pour over chicken and mushrooms.

Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve over egg noodles or rice.
