Crockpot red beans and rice. So good!
Ingredients
- 1 pound Red Beans, Dry
- 7 cups Water
- 20 ounces, fluid Chicken Broth
- 1 whole Green Pepper, Stem And Seeds Removed, Diced
- 1 whole Yellow Onion, Chopped
- 3 stalks Celery, Chopped
- 1-½ pound Andouille Sausage, Sliced In Bite-sized Rounds
- 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Creole Seasoning
- 8 cups Hot Cooked White Rice
Preparation
Rinse beans and pour into a large crockpot. Add water, chicken broth, vegetables, sausage, garlic and seasoning into pot. Cook on high for 7 hours.
To assemble, put some rice on the bottom of each bowl and top with beans. Serve with French bread for full effect.
