Crockpot Red Beans and Rice

    Description

    Crockpot red beans and rice. So good!

    Ingredients

    • 1 pound Red Beans, Dry
    • 7 cups Water
    • 20 ounces, fluid Chicken Broth
    • 1 whole Green Pepper, Stem And Seeds Removed, Diced
    • 1 whole Yellow Onion, Chopped
    • 3 stalks Celery, Chopped
    • 1-½ pound Andouille Sausage, Sliced In Bite-sized Rounds
    • 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
    • 2 Tablespoons Creole Seasoning
    • 8 cups Hot Cooked White Rice

    Preparation

    Rinse beans and pour into a large crockpot. Add water, chicken broth, vegetables, sausage, garlic and seasoning into pot. Cook on high for 7 hours.

    To assemble, put some rice on the bottom of each bowl and top with beans. Serve with French bread for full effect.
