Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, Trimmed Of Fat
  • 1 package (about 1 Oz. Size) Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 cup Thick And Chunky Salsa
  • Flour Tortillas, To Serve
  • Desired Taco Toppings

Preparation

Place chicken in bottom of slow cooker and sprinkle with taco seasoning. Spoon salsa over chicken and spread evenly. Cook on low for 3–4 hours or high for 2 hours or until chicken is cooked through.

Once done, remove chicken to a plate to cool a bit and shred. Stir in some of the liquid if you like.

Serve with flour tortillas and desired taco toppings. Suggestions include shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, chopped lettuce, sour cream, extra salsa, chopped onion, guacamole, pico de gallo, pickled jalapeno pepper slices, and sliced black olives.
