Description
Put this on a chocolate cake and watch it disappear! Use on cupcakes or a sheet pan layer cake.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces, weight Softened Cream Cheese
- ½ sticks Unsalted Butter, Room Temperature
- 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- ½ cups Crunchy Peanut Butter
- 4 cups Confectioners Sugar
Preparation
Using a stand mixer with paddle attachment (or a large bowl and hand mixer), mix cream cheese and butter and run mixer on low for 2 minutes. Add vanilla extract and crunchy peanut butter and increase speed to medium. Mix well. Slowly add confectioners sugar, 1 cup at a time, mixing well before each addition. Mix on high speed for 3–4 minutes to combine.
Use immediately or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to use.
Yesterday, I made a chocolate sheet pan cake and used this frosting, I cut the cake in squares and it disappeared rather quickly! Hope you’ll enjoy. They sure did!
