A lovely drink.
Ingredients
- 5 sticks Licorice Roots (Candy Store)
- 4 Anise Stars
- ¼ cups Juniper Berries
- ½ cups Water
- 2 cups Brandy
Preparation
Put licorice sticks, star anise and juniper berries in a pot. Add water and heat it until it cooks. Let it simmer for about 15—20 minutes. Stir every few minutes.
Let cool then add brandy. Pour through a sieve and bottle. If desired, let it mature for a couple of days for optimal taste.
