Description
An easy and flavorful marinara sauce that only takes 30 minutes from start to finish.
Ingredients
- 28 ounces, fluid Diced Tomato
- 1 whole Carrot
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 cup Loosely Packed Fresh Basil
- 1-½ Tablespoon Minced Onion
- ½ teaspoons Dried Oregano
- ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 whole Bay Leaf
Preparation
Place all ingredients, except bay leaf, into the blender in the order listed and blend until smooth. Once blended, pour into a medium saucepan and add bay leaf. Simmer on low heat for 25–30 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
Store in the refrigerator for later use or use immediately.
