Okay, close your eyes. Think amazingly rich, gooey chocolate deliciousness, made from scratch, chocolate brownie in a crust! That’s right, Chocolate Brownie Pie!

This pie is full of addictive goodness. You’ll have your family screaming for more! And let’s be honest, have you ever met a brownie you didn’t like?

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Pie Crust, Unbaked
  • ½ cups Butter, Softened
  • 2 Tablespoons Cocoa
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ¼ cups Flour
  • 2  Eggs, Well Beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup Nuts Of Choice (optional, But Recommended)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325ºF.

Place pie shell in pie pan, pierce with a fork. (If using a frozen crust, let thaw first then pierce with a fork). Set aside.

In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add cocoa, stirring until completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Mixture will be thick and grainy.

Add flour, well-beaten eggs, and vanilla. Stir in nuts.

Spread mixture into pie shell. Bake in preheated oven 30–35 minutes or until top forms thin crust and sides are firm. Remove from oven. Let set.

Serve warm or cold. Top with vanilla ice cream if desired.
