Homemade Pakistani Chargha Style Chicken, easy and delicious. Serve with a side of rice to make a full meal.
Ingredients
- FOR THE MARINADE:
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Paste
- 1 Tablespoon Ginger Paste
- 8 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Curry Powder
- 1 pinch Orange Color
- FOR THE CHICKEN:
- 2 pounds Chicken Pieces
- Oil, For Frying
- Chaat Masala To Taste
Preparation
Mix all the marinade ingredients. Apply evenly over the chicken. Marinate for 2 hours.
Steam chicken in a steamer until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Heat oil on medium heat and fry chicken until crisp golden from all sides. Remove from heat. Sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot.
