Description

An easy but still crave-worthy dinner option using store bought chicken and pantry staples.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Prepared Rotisserie Chicken
  • 1 can (15 1/2 Oz. Size) Sloppy Joe Sauce
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Beans, Drained And Rinsed (I Used Kidney Beans)
  • ½ cups Shredded Cheese (I Used A Tex/Mex Blend)
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Chopped Scallions Or Chives
  • Cooked Rice Or Pasta, For Serving

Preparation

Remove the skin from your chicken, pull meat off the bones and shred it using two forks or your fingers.

Place the chicken in a large skillet and add the Sloppy Joe sauce and beans. Cook on a medium low flame for a few minutes until it begins to heat through.

Stir in the cheese and top with the scallions. Serve over rice or pasta.
