Description
Fennel seed juice is a simple recipe to give relief from thirst in the summer season.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Fennel Seeds
- 4 teaspoons Sugar
- 1 bottle Cold Water (1 Liter Bottle)
Preparation
Soak the fennel seeds in a bowl covered with some water. Leave it for half an hour.
Then drain off the water and grind the seeds in a mixer/food processor until very fine. Mix in sugar and the cold water. Serve chilled with ice cubes. You may pass it through a sieve if you do not like the fiber but it is good for your digestive system, so drink up.
Note: It is customary in India to serve fennel seeds on a silver tray, after meals. Besides being a mouth freshener, it is also good for digestion.
