Ingredients
- 2-⅓ cups Water
- 1 Apple, Small Cored And Peeled
- 1 cup Old Fashioned Oatmeal
- 1 pinch Salt
- ¼ cups Cream Or Milk
- ¼ cups Real Maple Syrup
- Brown Sugar, To Taste
Preparation
While the water is coming to a boil, grate the apple. When the water is boiling, add the apples and the oatmeal. Boil for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Now add the pinch of salt, milk or cream and maple syrup. Pour into 2 bowls to cool off while you check your email or feed the dog. Add brown sugar as desired, (or go on the wild side and add raisins, nuts, cinnamon, etc.) or just eat as is. Yum!
