Fresh Lemon Basil Broccoli Spaghetti
Ingredients
- 250 grams Spaghetti
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil, Plus More To Serve
- 1 head (medium) Broccoli, Florets Very Finely Chopped
- ⅓ cups Fresh Basil Leaves
- ½ Lemon, Juiced
- ½ cups Sunflower Seeds
- Salt And Ground Black Pepper To Taste
Preparation
Put water on to boil for the spaghetti, following the cooking instructions on the box to cook the spaghetti.
Heat olive oil in a large frying pan and fry broccoli and basil on a medium heat until broccoli is tender, about 5 minutes or less. Take off heat.
Stir in lemon juice and sunflower seeds. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serve over the spaghetti. Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and enjoy!
