Description
If you like hot chocolate (or chocolate in general) then you will really love this recipe, I assure you. It was icy cold, sweet and chocolaty! The whipped cream, marshmallows and mini chips were a nice touch but the drink would taste delicious even without those extra touches. It’s one of those recipes you won’t make very often, but when you do it’s a really special treat.
Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Hot Chocolate Mix (about 1 Packet)
- 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter

Preparation
Combine sugar, hot chocolate mix, and butter in the top of a double boiler set over gently boiling water. Stir until melted and a smooth paste forms. Combine the chocolate mixture, the remaining evaporated milk and ice in a blender and cover. Blend until smooth.
Pour into frosted glasses. Top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with additional chopped chocolate chips and mini marshmallows, if desired.
